Online Course Sauna Master® – International with Certificate

The German Sauna Academy, in close cooperation with the International Sauna Academy, offers the online course 'Sauna Master®'. The course is internationally recognized and fully available in German. Participants benefit from a flexible, practice-oriented and quality-assured learning format that conveys all the basics and in-depth knowledge of professional sauna operations.
The course is ideal for anyone who wants to continue their education independently, flexibly and regardless of location – whether already working in the sauna business or as a career changer interested in a sound qualification.

The Sauna Master® online course is aimed at:

- Professionals who want to qualify further or take on leadership responsibilities

Objective:

The aim of the online course is to train competent Sauna Masters® who are able to independently, safely and creatively perform various infusions, ceremonies and health-oriented bathing procedures in professional sauna facilities.
Key aspects:
- Safety and prevention: handling incidents, first aid, fire and health protection
- Expertise and practice: conducting safe and standardized sauna infusions, special infusions, fan techniques, aromatherapy
- Health and physiology: effects of sauna on skin, cardiovascular system, breathing, nervous system, water balance and psychological factors
- Organization and quality: workplace requirements, hygiene, infection prevention, marketing the service 'sauna bathing'
- Science and culture: basics of heat transfer, pharmacology of infusion agents, history of the sauna, modern research

Admission Requirements:

- Minimum age: 18 years
- Sufficient knowledge of English
- No special preparation required – all content is systematically conveyed in the course

Duration and Start:

- The Sauna Master® online course can be started flexibly at any time.
- The contents are structured into 30 modules with a total of 296 lessons.
- Scope: approx. 66 hours of learning videos and 797 accompanying files (worksheets, review questions, self-tests and final multiple-choice tests).
- Workload: approx. 250–300 hours depending on individual learning pace.
This corresponds to a solid, practice-oriented further training with substantial depth – while offering maximum flexibility in self-study.

All participants receive the comprehensive 'Training Compendium Sauna Master®' (5th edition, DIN A4, January 2023, 438 pages). It systematically guides through the course, supports understanding and is ideally suited for follow-up and professional application.

Course Dates:

The online course is completely flexible in terms of time:

This makes the training ideal for the participants' everyday lives.

Graduation & Certificate:

After successful participation and passing the online exam, the internationally recognized certificate 'Sauna Master®' is awarded. It confirms the acquired competences and is valid indefinitely.
